Preparation
- Once accepted to the course, participants will be directed to an online platform where they will have access to basic information, articles, videos and other resources related to creative drama, self-confidence, communication, empathy, drama techniques and pedagogy. Participants on this platform;

Course Description
This course aims to provide teachers, educators and professionals working in the field of education with the necessary knowledge and skills to use creative drama and drama techniques to support students’ personal and social development, increase their self-confidence, communication, empathy skills and motivation to learn. The course will provide detailed information and practical applications on creative drama concepts and basic principles, drama techniques (role-playing, improvisation, storytelling, forum theater), designing games and activities, developing self-confidence, communication skills (verbal and non-verbal), empathy and perspective taking, social skills, emotional awareness, evaluation and feedback.
Objectives of the Course
- To understand creative drama and drama learning approaches and to grasp the basic principles of these approaches.
- To be able to use creative drama and drama techniques (role-playing, improvisation, storytelling, forum theater) effectively.
- To be able to design games and activities appropriate to the age and developmental levels of students.
- To be able to plan and implement self-confidence development activities.
- To develop communication skills (verbal and non-verbal) and to gain them to students.
- To increase students’ social awareness by developing empathy and perspective-taking skills.
- To work on social skills and emotional awareness.
- To be able to use creative drama and drama learning assessment and feedback methods effectively.
