Preparation

  • Once accepted to the course, participants will be directed to an online platform where they will have access to basic information, articles, videos and other resources related to project-based learning (PBL) and technology integration.
  • Participants will be sent a list of resources providing information about examples of projects, technology integration tools and web 2.0 tools suitable for different subjects and age groups.
  • Prior to the course, an online meeting will be organized with the participants and detailed information about the course program, expectations, use of the online platform and other logistical information will be provided.

Course Description

This course aims to provide teachers, educators and education professionals with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively use the project-based learning (PBL) approach and technology integration in the digital age. The course will provide detailed information and practical applications on the basic principles of PBL, project cycle, technology integration models, web 2.0 tools, digital citizenship, project design and management, evaluation and feedback.

Objectives of the Course

  • To familiarize participants with the project-based learning (PBL) approach and technology integration.
  • Understand the basic principles of PBL and the project cycle.
  • To have knowledge about technology integration models and web 2.0 tools and be able to use them effectively.

  • Participants will apply the acquired knowledge and skills in their own educational settings and will be encouraged to develop and share their PBL practices.
  • Participants will be invited to participate in future PBL activities and projects.
