Preparation
- Once accepted to the course, participants will be directed to an online platform where they will have access to basic information, articles, videos, industry reports and other resources on intercultural communication, intercultural competence, business ethics, global business and related topics.
- Participants will receive a guidance document with tips and examples on intercultural awareness and communicating with business people from different cultures.
- Prior to the course, an online meeting will be organized with the participants to share the course program, expectations, use of the online platform and other logistical information.
Course Description
This course aims to provide teachers and educators working in the field of vocational education and training and professionals who want to succeed in the global business world with the necessary knowledge and skills in communicating effectively with people from different cultures and intercultural competence. The course will provide detailed information, industry examples and practical applications on intercultural communication models, verbal and non-verbal communication, business ethics, cultural awareness, culture shock, conflict management, leadership, teamwork and strategies for success in the global business world.
