Preparation
- Once accepted to the course, participants will be directed to an online platform where they will have access to basic information, articles, videos and other resources on challenging behaviors, classroom management and positive discipline. On this platform, they can learn about the causes of challenging behaviors, student needs, organizing the classroom environment, positive discipline techniques and conflict resolution.
- Participants will receive a guidance document with case studies, behavior management plans, and classroom activities on practices for dealing with challenging behaviors in the classroom.
- Prior to the course, an online meeting will be held with participants to discuss the course schedule, expectations, use of the online platform, and other logistical information.
Course Description
This course aims to provide teachers, educators and education professionals with the knowledge and skills to develop positive and solution-oriented strategies for dealing with challenging behaviors in the classroom.
